About us…

…us:

We are two mature students who decided to move away from IT after lots of years and go back to school.
One is an Undergraduate of Archaeology and Heritage and professional archaeologist, the other a PhD student and Educational Technologist, we decided to help others similarly enthused by local archaeology, by working with the communities around Offa’s and Wat’s dykes.

We started with general Archaeological Outreach, then with the Offa’s Dyke Association (ODA)‘s encouragement, we an outreach project with them – Twitter @ODA_outreach temporarily hosted at http://odao.blogsite.org then this project spawned from that.
ODA put us in contact with the Trefonen Rural Protection Group who were already pro-active with the monitoring of Offa’s Dyke and embraced the monument in their community.  Thanks to them we are going from strength to strength enlisting support within organisations such as the Offa’s Dyke Collaboratory (ODC) and, of course, the Offa’s Dyke Association (as we are both members of the committee), and Dr. Keith Ray  as well as the ODA.
